Some of the dishes on Corianders menu have been tested and refined over one hundred times to ensure each dish tastes just right, even without artificial colouring and MSG which enhance the flavour and appearance of a dish but are harmful to our bodies. In fact, artificial colourings cannot be digested by the human body at all and this is often the cause of the unwanted after effects we associate with eating curry.

After the success of Coriander Chorlton, Matin opened his second restaurant in neighbouring village Withington in 2010 which has since established itself as one of the best local restaurants winning a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence and a ‘Festival of Curry award’ from the House of Commons.

Day tickets for the festival can still be bought for a limited time from Ticket Arena, www.parklife.uk.com and official sellers only at just £45.

As this year’s Parklife Weekender grows in size it also grows in stature, commissioning a large number of art installations that will be installed across the site as well as a wide variety of food stalls. 2013 also welcomes the most impressive line-up yet including Plan B, Example, Rita Ora, Mark Ronson b2b with A-Trak, Jurassic 5, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Julio Bashmore, Maya Jane Coles, Jessie Ware, Disclosure and legend Johnny Marr are just some of the 300+ artists performing at this year’s festival.Furthermore organisers have also commissioned an additional 5 stages of music. These includes the Red Bull Music Academy who will be showcasing some of the most exciting up and coming talent in British electronic music today, such as Daniel Avery, Koreless and T.Williams. This attention to detail continues to set The Parklife Weekender apart from it’s competitors, and what makes it one of the most value for money festivals in the UK today. As always the good times don’t need to end as festival goers leave the walls of Heaton Park, this year’s ‘Afterlife’ will be taking over 15 venues across the city over two nights. Globally renowned acts such as Jackmaster, Andy C, Dyed Soundorom and George Fitzgerald will no doubt keep the party going until the early hours. To ensure that festival-goers arrive at the site without any fuss, this year we welcome the Parklife Express. Shuttle buses will be running to and from the festival site from the city centre (Miller Street) and Owens Park (Fallowfield) throughout the 2 days. A day return ticket can be picked up for just £4.50 here http://www.parklife.uk.com/map.php

Snuggles is a grey-coloured, medium-sized Yorkie who may be wearing a pink collar.
As you can see from the picture, she’s recently had her fur trimmed.

She went on the run with another family dog, Princess, on Thursday [30 May] after a gate at her home may have been left open, says owner Danielle Mitchell, a 24–year-old care assistant from Tranby Close, Crossacres.

Danielle has been leading the search by her family and friends in Crossacres, Peel Hall
and Gatley.

Princess was found safe and well in a garden in Gatley on Thursday – just hours after she
escaped – after a frantic search by family members.

The search for Snuggles, who is still missing, goes on.

Snuggles was last seen near Peel Hall shops and Hollyhedge Park.

Please look in your garden and your sheds. If you have taken Snuggles in, know
where she is, or can report a sighting of her, Danielle and her family want to hear
from you. Please call: 07908 627 118 or 07432 817 757.

It was also retiring manager Sir Alex Ferguson’s farewell that the city that he has put right at the centre of the world’s footballing map.

Paul Scholes is not one for the limelight, but he will be waving goodbye to fans for the last time after deciding to hang up his boots.

The parade began with a send-off event at the stadium at 6pm before leaving Sir Matt Busby Way half an hour later and travelling a 2.5-mile route to Manchester town hall.

With 20,000 fans packed into Sir Matt Busby Way, roads had to be closed prior to the Red Devils’ departure. And whilst there was space along the main route into the city centre, once the bus headed down the main shopping area, Deansgate, supporters found a variety of vantage points to see the team drive past.

Rio Ferdinand and Ashley Young, who at times ditched the crutches he is supposed to be using to nurse an ankle injury that has ended his season, led the singing, with Ferguson also joining in, and even forced Paul Scholes onto centre stage for a rare interview.

The title-winning squad travelled along Chester Road and Deansgate in a custom-designed double decker bus bearing a ‘Champions 2013’ logo.

In Albert Square came the true party. The Courteeners, Status Quo and the obligatory ‘We are the Champions’ ensured this would be a celebration right to the end.

The celebrations culminated with a 20-minute appearance from the Premier League champions in front of thousands of fans in the square.

Ferguson’s career deserved nothing less.

He came along and grasped the challenge of waking United from their slumber with both hands. And yesterday he had the city in his palm.

We decided that as an activity we would write a letter to ourselves that would not be opened until March 1993. The letter was confidential and sealed in an envelope which was then securely stored in my filing cabinet. It contained a list of hopes and wishes to be achieved by 1993.

Over the years the school has undergone a lot of changes; moving from two sites to one, a new school building programme, a community leisure centre, a sixth form building and a new inclusion wing and centre. We formed a Federation with Benchill and Baguley Hall Primary Schools and then formed a Foundation Trust. Despite all of that, the envelopes have remained sealed in my care.

I am proposing to get that group of 4th year students together before the end of May. I am proposing to have a small reunion whereby each participant can catch up with old friends and talk about what they have done since leaving school. The opening of the letters will be done privately. If people want to share they can, if they don’t want to then that is fine as well.

If you know any of these people and their whereabouts please contact either Bernadette Zahl or Sandra Maguire at school.
