Every Sunday from 9am till 11am I present " Jimmy Lambert`s fifties and sixties pop explosion " I then assist Les Watson who presents the show after mine .though he never needs assistance I get to listen to his show .

On my show I play hits from the fifties and sixties then I tell you when the song entered the charts , how high it got , how many weeks it was in the charts , I also tell you other interesting facts like if it reached No 1 in America , I also play some great music from the same era that never made it into the charts , On my show I have four features RRR
Which is my rock and roll round up , TTT three tearjerking tracks , FA featured artist and MMM magical motown moments . I play three tracks in all my features and I also take requests .

I have always liked the music from the fifties and sixties and to share this love of music with others has always been an ambition of mine for a long time, I started my radio experience at Wythenshawe Hospital , I used to do a request show on a Friday night I would go round the wards taking requests and then go back to the studio and play them the good thing about this was talking to the patients and feeling as if you were making their stay a little more pleasant , As to how I came to W.F.M.
