If you’re aged 19 to 60, unemployed, live in Wythenshawe, and don’t have any formal qualifications no more than 4 GCSEs (A to C), then you’re eligible to take part in a free one day workshop to produce and present a live one hour radio show on Wythenshawe FM.
By taking part, you'll learn and develop new skills including:

• Communication
• Teamwork
• Planning and organising
• Developing ideas

…plus you’ll make friends and have lots of fun.

The next ‘Radio in a Day’ course will be on Thursday 25th February 2010. 

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

This workshop could be a step to further learning or volunteering, and by taking part you'll be guaranteed a place on the next 2 week radio skills course at Wythenshawe FM in May 2010.
