The show now goes out on a Sunday lunchtime and comes live from our new state of the art studio complex on the thirteenth floor of Banderas Bay in Heald Green. We still include a review of the weekends premiership football as well as keeping an eye on the results and fixtures of Wythenshawe town seniors and juniors football teams. For Those About To Rock also provides an overview of any significant or insignificant live rock gigs coming up in Manchester.

Reality radio and radio blind date are to be featured soon as well as smellovision and loads of special guests on a Sunday lunchtime.

Other occasional fun stuff is also included, which, presently includes our search for the worlds saddest song as well as The Lost Years which is a spoof of famous musicians previously unreleased recordings.
The interviews and on location recordings tend to follow national news or items of interest.

For example we will soon be speaking to Greenpeace as well as regular updates from Ricky The Butcher who's family have raised and sold their own livestock for the past 150 years. Other features have included Animal Aid, the Election Commission and the governments National Bee Inspector.

I have recently taken part in a firewalk for charity which will also be featured on the show as well as an hour with a leading paranormal investigator.

I am currently hoping to link up with an Austrian radio presenter as well as a radio presenter in New Mexico, USA. I also support local bands and community stuff going on.

Oh yes and some music

I am self employed at the moment and trying to launch a training business amongst other things. One of the things I have always been interested in was the media and radio. I heard an advert asking for volunteers and was surprised to hear that you could eventually present your own show. I volunteered for two reasons, one was because I was interested in the technical training I could receive and the second was the challenge of being able to present and produce my own radio show.
