Parkway Soap Opera is not running at the moment but will hopefully be back, later in the year.

Parkway is our very own soap opera and the first community radio soap in Britain…..

WFM’s very own soap opera is called Parkway. This is the first community radio soap opera in Britain. It is now into its 5 th series and is written, performed and edited by very talented volunteers.

The story-lining and most of the writing has been done by our brilliant volunteer writers Jane Barnes and Kate Picker.

Other volunteers have written scenes for the soap: Natalie Howe, Jason Barrett, Marlene Oliver, Kate Bevan, Peter Jones and Bill Henderson.

We currently have a strong cast of 22 people ranging from 11 to 76 years old.
