A Helping Hand for Job Hunters Thursday 6 March 12 Noon – 5pm

wythenshawefmlogoRGBLocal people looking to get their hands on a new job are invited to a free major public recruitment event at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester. Job City has been organised by Manchester City Council and will take place on
Thursday, 6 March from 12 – 5pm.
Businesses representing sectors, including construction, customer service, and health and social care, will be in attendance and looking to recruit.
Councillor Sue Murphy, Deputy Leader of Manchester City Council, said: “Job City is the perfect way to put employers and jobseekers in direct contact, giving people a chance to explore a wide range of roles which are now available. It’s a great opportunity for anyone who is looking for a new job and it’s free to attend.”
Entrance to Job City is via Entrance F, in the Etihad Stadium’s East Stand.
Previous Job City events in Manchester have attracted as many as 40 exhibitors – including support organisations who can help jobseekers with the application process.
