With funseekers draped in Irish flags and with shamrocks painted on cheeks, with leprechauns aplenty, an Irish harp player, a huge Irish wolfhound delighting the crowds, and a bustling Irish market and entertainment area, there was something for everyone.
WFM was there to capture the fun and the mood of the crowd, who had come from all corners of Greater Manchester and from further afield, to watch the parade that travelled from the Irish World Heritage Centre in Cheetham Hill to Albert Square in the city centre.
