A pub-watch scheme has been launched at the Farmers Arms in Longley Lane, Northenden.

A GMP spokesperson said landlady Jenny Terry is new to the area and so she was keen to set up a pub-watch scheme and asked local police to help.

According to GMP, The Crown, on Ford Lane in Northenden, and Bar Bibo, on Palatine Road in Northenden, have also joined the scheme, which will see local landlords working closely with police to help reduce crime and antisocial behaviour in Northenden and it’s hoped other pubs will join once the scheme once it becomes more established.
