WFM Presenter Colin Smith’s Shave for MacMillan Nurses

Colin SmithColin suffers with CLL, a form of leukaemia, and may need the help of MacMillan Nurses in the future! Colin lost his mum to bowel cancer, his ex mother-in-law as well and my ex has had breast cancer!

We all know someone who has or has had cancer! MacMillan Nurses are not just there for the patient, but also their families as well! Colin is a single dad with two teenage daughters at home, 18 and16. If his leukaemia becomes invasive they and me will need their help…….at the moment it’s stable!

Colin’s target is £250 this would provide a MacMillan nurse for 10 hours in helping people living with cancer and their families receive essential medical, practical and emotional support! The more I can raise the better.

Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. They provide practical, medical, emotional and financial support and push for better cancer care. One in three of us will get cancer. Two million of us are living with it. We are all affected by cancer.

There will be more events happening while I’m able to…… keep your eyes peeled!
