Everyone is invited to join the fun as Wythenshawe hosts its annual festival of sport, the Wythenshawe Games this week.
Wythenshawe Park again plays host to this event first launched in 2012 as a celebration of community sport inspired by London’s Olympic Games.
The packed programme, which runs from Wednesday 25th July to Sunday 29th July, includes:
* Drop-in family sports and activities every day, 11am to 5pm
* Under 5s activities in a Pop-Up Library, 11am to 4pm every day
* An Age-Friendly programme on Wednesday 25th July
*A Sport For All Day on Thursday 26th July
(drop-in sport for disabled and non-disabled people to enjoy together)
*This Girl Can Day on Friday 27th July, a programme for girls & women
(Boys and men are welcome to join in)
*YouthTopia Chill-out Zone for ages 10 – 19 every day
*Interactive Health Zone
*Free fun fair – Saturday & Sunday.
