We proudly have over 100 active volunteers, presenting and producing a diverse range of shows that reflect the rich, multicultural communities of Manchester. Our programming includes talk shows, specialist music shows, foreign language programs, and shows aimed at specific communities.

Our Mission: Wythenshawe FM leverages the power of radio to enhance the lives of the people and communities of South Manchester. We focus on providing valuable skills that extend beyond radio, helping our volunteers in their everyday lives. Broadcasting live and pre-recorded shows 24/7, we serve as a positive medium for expression, allowing those whose voices are often least heard a platform. We highlight local events, issues, and the voice of the community, alongside featuring some of the finest local music and chart hits.

You can find WFM on 97.2 FM in Wythenshawe and the surrounding areas, on DAB across parts of South Manchester and on this very website everywhere else.

Broadcasting live and Pre recorded shows, hours per day, 7 days per week, we provide a positive medium of expression for those in our communities whose voices are least heard, as well as an opportunity to highlight events, issues and the voice of the Local communities. Plus some of the finest local music to be heard anywhere on the radio as well as chart hits.
