Sarah is passionate about music, people and community, and loves bringing a little joy, energy and good vibes to people’s day.
Her musical influences include soul and Motown, and she has huge admiration for Prince, whom she considers a true musical genius. She particularly appreciates his creativity, musicianship and ability to push musical boundaries.
Sarah is a big lover of live music, events and festivals, and enjoys meeting and interviewing emerging and local artists. She loves discovering the stories behind their songs, hearing about their journeys and giving new talent a platform to connect with listeners.
Sarah spent three years presenting on a Cheshire radio station, where she hosted a faith-based show featuring Gospel and contemporary Christian music. During her time on air, she interviewed a variety of artists, including local talent, and developed a real passion for engaging with people and sharing their stories through radio.
Having lived in Manchester for most of her life, apart from spending several years in Turkey, Sarah moved to Wythenshawe this year. She is looking forward to becoming part of the local community, meeting new people and sharing her love of music with listeners across Wythenshawe.
For Sarah, music is all about connection, discovering great talent and promoting what Manchester has to offer. But most importantly bringing JOY to peoples days.
