Over the years Matt has presented several shows for WFM including our flagship Drivetime and Lunchtime shows. Since becoming a dad, Matt is getting up earlier and earlier, and in between changing nappies, currently plays some banging tunes for early birds in his Early Wake Up Call show Mondays to Fridays 5-7am.

In the late 1990s Matt set out on his radio journey at Wythenshawe Hospital Radio Fab Gold. Then he travelled just down the radio to Civic Centre to become part of Wythenshawe FM, where he was one of the station's first presenters, joining in the first week of launch to present the Breakfast Show.

He has stepped away a few times to focus on family and life but he says "my heart always comes back to this station for the people in it and just my love for Wythenshawe where I grew up, found my first love and did my first DJing gig at the Cornishman in 2000".

Matt is still proud to be apart of the station all these years on from that first launch date. He is excited to present this new early morning show and urges you to "make sure you're listening in bright and early only so I don't think it's just the birds listening hahaha."
