Martin presents The Alternative Brunch every Thursday morning from 10-12noon. Plus he is a regular stand in on our flagship shows and presents the occasional special, such as his Epic 80s Rewind.

Born and raised in Wythenshawe, Martin is a proud Manc, as regular listeners can tell in his passion for supporting local bands and artists.

A Newall Green High School boy, Martin did well academically despite the classroom bullies. He went on to get a media degree, but his social anxiety held him back until joining WFM.

I graduated from the University of Salford with an A BA (Hons) degree in television and radio production. I joined Wythenshawe FM in 2022 and have enjoyed every minute, especially when it comes to sharing brand new music and interacting with our listeners.

Although I love indie and alternative music , I have a soft spot for the 1980s and the occasional trance tune.

Martin's Manchester Weather page on Facebook, reflects his other passion. As a boy his ambition was to be a 'Weatherman' on the TV, and has been a self confessed "weather geek" ever since. His success at getting the weather right more often than not is reflected in the 18,000 followers who check his daily forecast each morning, 7 days a week.
